Objectives
To form support groups for children with same diagnosis so that their families can connect, share information and experience, support and encourage each other

Target
Young cancer patients and families

Services Provided

  • A platform for parents to share experiences and information
  • Educational talks for parents
  • Family support services
  • Specific training for the patients, such as memory training for brain tumour patients and strength training for bone tumour patients

When a child is being diagnosed with cancer, it traumatised the whole family. The newly diagnosed families having the opportunity to connect with families with same experience will help them have a better understanding of the emotional, physical, and spiritual challenges they have to face in the course of the treatment and recovery of their children.  We organise disease specific groups so that parents can care, support and encourage each other empowering their journey fighting childhood cancer.
