The pandemic could not dampen the enthusiasm of Deutsche Bank volunteers in helping child cancer patients! After holding its “Shave for a Cure” event, Deutsche Bank organised a St. Baldrick's Foundation event last week, in which their staff volunteered to shave their heads for a good cause! Proceeds from this event will be used to fund childhood cancer research in Hong Kong. Through this research, we are able to help doctors improve the survival rate of cancer patients in the long term, thus bringing a life-saving influence to children in need.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Deutsche Bank and the 5 participants as “shavees”. Deutsche Bank has been supporting the head-shaving event since 2015. The brave and meaningful act of the shavees has not only brought in a significant amount of funds, but also helped to raise awareness for patients suffering from childhood cancer.
