| PATIENT SERVICE Patient Support - Financial
The Foundation provides financial assistance to the families of
the young cancer patients to meet special needs arising out of the patients' illness.
The assistance includes:-
Long hospital stay allowance
Purchase of wigs, artificial eyes and limbs,
spectacles and dentures, etc.
Subsidies for special diet supplements, travelling
expenses, school fees, private tuition and child-minding fees, children's
after school programmes, meals and living allowances, burial or cremation
costs etc.
Purchase of special drugs and subsidy for special medical tests.
Extra expenses to enable the wishes of terminally-ill children to
come true, whenever possible.
The Foundation also endeavours to liaise referrals for patients
to obtain additional sources of help when it is possible to do so. |
