Through all stages of childhood cancer – diagnosis, treatment, recovery, relapse and in some cases, bereavement – patients and families have a unique range of psychological needs.  These may be caused by complicated treatment processes and have an effect on other family members.

Led by our Clinical Psychologist, every psychotherapy session involves a genuine, frank and honest exchange between psychologist and patient.  We witness the anguish, sadness and fear of children and their parents.  But we also witness the healing that takes place when expressions of these emotions are quickly transformed into expressions of courage, wisdom, acceptance and appreciation of life.
